Rødding Church

Ordinary village church from 1150, built in Romanesque style. Wellpreserved chancel, newer western extension and porch.

Of special interest are two very beautiful wooden figures from the church's original late medieval altarpiece. The remainder can be found in Sønderborg Castle. The church has been ransacked a number of times (during the Swedish wars) so the rest of the furniture is not noteworthy.
